Term 3 | April

Updated: May 14, 2018

Tutorial 10 - 27/4/2018

- Photos demonstrate the other self

- Queer theory - other you is the ideal you; exposed loved one (participant) being the person in the mirror

- Questioning what self is, is where identity is created

- What's interesting about wearing family & friend's clothes? What are their reflections on the experience?

- Photos being too small might undersell them

- What sizes and how many do I want of each image?

- Use of a single mirror might create the wrong statement at the final exhibition and perhaps won't correlate with the results of my research

- Dressing table is a nice idea

- A mirror should be incorporated in some way, however

- Need to know the maximum size of each image

- Sticky-back paper printing (ask Phil or Robbie)

- Test run with sticking photos onto mirror and using archival ink

- Sell my prints at exhibition?

N.B. Not all suggestions were pursued, and not all tasks were carried out.
